Regarding the investigation probe of the rape and murder case of Kolkata R G Kar trainee doctor undertaken by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) , several informations are coming into surface.

The CBI is tracking the mobile phone calls made by the hospital's former principal Sandip Ghosh after the rape and murder of an intern doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. By tracking the phone calls made or received by Ghosh, the investigating officer is trying to find out what exactly happened during the conversations during those calls.

The investigating officers are keen to find out whether Ghosh gave any information to anyone that morning or gave any instructions to anyone regarding the incident. On the other hand, on the same day, the central agency conducted a polygraph test of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Anup Dutta of Kolkata Police to find out his alleged links with civic volunteer Sanjay Rai, arrested in the incident.

The CBI had taken permission from a Kolkata court for the polygraph test of Dutta. The agency had earlier questioned Dutta in the case. Dutta is the eighth person to face the polygraph test in this case. Earlier, the polygraph test of former principal of the hospital Sandip Ghosh, accused Sanjay Roy and his civic volunteer friend Sourav Bhattacharya and four trainee doctors has been conducted. According to officials, Dutta, posted in the Kolkata Police Welfare Committee, had allegedly given many benefits to Roy, a traffic civic volunteer. The CBI is trying to find out whether Roy had informed Dutta about the alleged crime and whether he had sought any help to cover up the crime.

 The CBI again went to the victim's house on Wednesday. The doctor's parents said that two CBI officers came to their house. They collected some information and left. The investigators have assured cooperation. The victim's parents demanded that the investigation be completed soon. Also, the protest against this incident should continue.

The CBI has knocked the door of Alipur court demanding to add the section of fraud in the FIR registered in the case of financial irregularities of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. It is believed that after this the central agency will be able to prosecute the former principal of the hospital Sandeep Ghosh and three business establishments in an even stricter manner.
